Moscow: into the wild emotions

The word “genesis” means origin. In the first book of the biblical scriptures called “The book of Genesis”, this term refer to creation of the Earth. Legendary Magnum photographer Sebastiao Salgado called his exhibition “Genesis” to show us Earth like it used to be in old times. With his work he makes us back to the roots. But isolated places on Salgado’s photographs do not scare with its wildness. For me they rather reflect the background of Brazilian-born photographer – pure and emotional.

Istanbul – a trip between two continents

Istanbul was my Birthday present from my boyfriend. We had there 5 days, but this time I would like to mention only the birthday itself. We did something in Istanbul that is just impossible to do anywhere else. We made a trip from Europe to Asia in one hour and jumped in 5th century.

Coffee-minded Lviv

All the coffee lovers should be in Western Ukraine tomorrow, on 23.09.11. For 3 days Lviv invites for its fifth annual Coffee festival!

This UNESCO declared city is guilty in my 5 years old coffee addiction. This historical event happened in 2006, when Lviv celebrated its 750th anniversary. I came to the city to join the joy, being hopeless coffee hater.

Oktoberfest – 200 years old party.

In a few days the biggest party in the world will start. At least that’s how they call Oktoberfest! Everyone in Munich will have a great excuse to be drunk from 17th of September till 3rd of October. Normally this annual festival  lasts 16-18 days, including the first Sunday in October. Last year I was there for its anniversary – 200th Oktoberfest.
