You don’t need a space machine to travel in time. Take Beijing metro (Line 2 or Line 6) and head to Chaoyangmen station. Just at the exit you will face the future.

Ireland: happy FitzPatrick’s Day

Today, when Irish people celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, I would like to write about Patrick. But not the one you might think of. About Jim FitzPatrick – famous Irish artist. You definitely know one of his works – the legendary poster of Che Guevara – the black and white image on the red background. Jim was the one who reproduced the picture of Cuban photographer Alberto Korda on paper. You know the rest – this particular image became a symbol of world revolution.

My first exhibition

I would like to invite you to my first personal photo exhibition!

Artists used to say, that any work they create is like their own child. In such a case I am mother of many children. Seven of them are hanging on the black walls in Moscow’ center, in Cafe Receptor (B. Kozihinsky lane, 10) till 20th of June..

Lviv-addicted

Normally there are 2 scenarios for spending winter holidays for Ukrainians and Russians. First is to go skiing to Alps. Second – is to escape from cold days to sunny countries. This winter I was out of the scenario, as I went to my favourite Lviv. Western Ukrainian city looks like Europe due to its architecture, but it doesn’t have any ski resorts within the town. It was warm for us, but weather has nothing to do with it – tasty local coffee made us feel hot. This is actually why I came here – to drink the tasties coffee in Ukraine. And to discover missed details, as Lviv always has something new to surprise.

Istanbul – a trip between two continents

Istanbul was my Birthday present from my boyfriend. We had there 5 days, but this time I would like to mention only the birthday itself. We did something in Istanbul that is just impossible to do anywhere else. We made a trip from Europe to Asia in one hour and jumped in 5th century.

Milan – a fashion or final?

Today is the last day of legendary Fashion Week in Milan (September 21th to 27th). Famous names of Italian designers like Armani, D&G, Prada, Gucci, Versace etc. showed their vision of what to wear the following year. But is that glitter world is a real face of Milan?

They say that Milan is the European New York. The diversity of fashion trends, shopping malls and glamor cafes must be higher than in any other major town in European Union. Even having 6 hours for filming in Milan I had enough for not coming back there again.

Coffee-minded Lviv

All the coffee lovers should be in Western Ukraine tomorrow, on 23.09.11. For 3 days Lviv invites for its fifth annual Coffee festival!

This UNESCO declared city is guilty in my 5 years old coffee addiction. This historical event happened in 2006, when Lviv celebrated its 750th anniversary. I came to the city to join the joy, being hopeless coffee hater.
